Trekking through these jungles can be quite fascinating. The best part about it, unlike other jungle treks, there is a distinctive destination waiting for us. In the middle of this jungle is a beautiful waterfall. Since this is a part of the resort, no one else has access to it. How amazing is it to have your own private waterfall?

Festivals in Konkan are celebrated with a lot of love, affection and merry making! Some of the major festivals celebrated here are Holi, also locally known as Shimga Utsav, Ganpati and Diwali. Families get together and prepare local delicacies. They perform the very famous Koli dance and sing folk songs in Konkani and Marathi. Their celebrations are humbly livid and full of life and positive energy. We strongly recommend that if you are interested in the cultural arts, you book your stay during one of the main festivals. The whole Konkan is in high spirits and their warm personalities make you feel like a part of the family!

This is an exquisite experience and the highlight at Gaaj. In this safari, you are taken to the nearby gulf which is home to the saltwater crocodiles. This can be experienced in groups of 20 people so that we can go close to the crocodiles without threatening or scaring them in any way. This safari is done from a passenger boat and your safety is guaranteed at all times. Enjoy the sight of crocodiles in their natural habitats. Sometimes, 10-15 of them can be seen basking out in the open and taking full advantage of the weather. This safari is available all year round.
